Figurative

I have always enjoyed working on figures but exploring strong colors in flesh tones is simply as good as it gets.  I am loving the combination of strong linear and stylized outlines as well as painterly form.  I am inspiredby the fauvist works of Gaugain, and Matisse as well as the impressionist masters like Sargent and Fechin.  The linear styling of Dean Cornwell and Mucha are so fun and definetly are inspiring for this body of work.  Using their inspiration and a style all my own makes thissuch an exciting time in my career.
