Black and White

One of the most fundamental rules in my style is contrast.  My style is thick to thin texture.  Bold to soft colors.  Heavy to nonexistent outlines.  The strongest contrast you can achieve is a black and white or a monochromatic painting.  A new look for my style that is so pleasing to myself because I sneak in another backdrop of hidden color along the outlines and shining through the paint.  A deep venetian red that sets all the flat colors off.
