I love painting flowers.  They allow me to be expressive.  Painting one of my bikes for example, if I threw paint all the ellipses would be off that makes a rim flow into a tire.  In my nature paintings it is better to have a branch crooked then too straight and it is better to not be so precise as long as the composition has movement and interest.  Same with a flower.  I can be very liberal in my application and it only adds to the overall effect.
